How do I make my profile public/private?
As a military website we know privacy is very important. We believe that people should have control over how they share their information, and more importantly, who can see it! On Forces365.com you can only see the profiles of confirmed friends, therefore, all profiles are set as private.
How “free” is Forces365?
There are no hidden little costs involved, to use Forces365.com is completely free of charge.
I’ve forgotten my password, what can I do?
Passwords are easily forgotten, so we forgive you. Just use the "Forgot Password?" link and follow the instructions.
Note when you sign-in the “Remember me” tick box, this will save you having to sign-in again next time you visit Forces365 on the same computer. Please only use this option on your own private computer - if its shared then someone could log into your account and do all sorts!
2. Site Functions
How do I join my unit?
Easy! Simply search the groups/networks with your unit name and add yourself into the group - there are official groups for your unit which are monitored, but feel free to create your own! Add photos and comments! You can also add this in your personal section.
How do I add a video to my profile ?
We use YouTube for this, to make things simple for you. Search for the video of your choice and add to your profile.
How do you "tag" someone?
Search for your friend, once found then click/highlight the area you want to tag.
3. Remembrance and Memorials
I’d like to place a memorial, how do I do this?
This is like adding a unit, and only takes seconds, visit the Remembrance page. You can also upload photos and posts comments.
How does the Remembrance page work? I can't see anything.
When you join, or create a group in the Remembrance networks it will list them on this page, also stating the number of members part of that group.
4. Contacting Forces365
I'm a journalist and I would like to talk to someone at Forces365, who can I contact?
All media inquiries can contact Forces365 by using the contact page, with the subject “Media Enquiry” this will go straight to our press department.
How do I report identity theft and cyber bullying?
For identity theft simply email us the profile and we’ll investigate for you. As for cyber-bullying, please remember, you can always remove the person from your friends, they will then no longer be able to add comments to your profile page or photos. If things get out of order then feel free to contact us, we are here to help!
